New head of Reablement for Essex Cares
Zara joined Essex Cares in July 2011 to seek fresh challenges having enjoyed working in a variety of ever increasing responsible roles with Essex County Council for almost 25years. Zara is our new Head of Reablement working right across the county to support our fantastic Reablement service which offers up to six weeks of support for someone who is getting back on their feet after some time in hopsital or a change of circumstances.
During her career with Essex County Council Zara worked in both children and adult services gaining a degree in Health & Social Care whilst working full time. Before moving to Essex Cares Zara led a County Wide team which identified and implemented a programme of innovative projects which improved services for adults in Essex in need of social care support.
Zara is passionate about empowering teams to deliver services they are proud of where our customers feel valued and respected as individuals.
Away from work Zara enjoys time spent with her partner and her 3 sons 4 daughters and two very cute grandsons
