Essex Cares opens its own shop in Colchester

The shop front is up and running in Colchester Town Centre now with all the Customers settled in after the move from Brook Street.

We are continuing to develop links within the Community and our Customers are benefiting from being able to easily access local facilities such as café’s, shops, the library, bowling etc. We have had positive feedback from our Customers who like the idea of being right in the town and the opportunities that this presents.

We are also continuing to develop community venues around Colchester. As well as Crafty Drama running 4 days a week we also have other projects up and running. These include -

Make and Mend - Art and craft group soon moving to Acorn Hall on Harwich Road.
Chapter 1 - Book club meets Wednesdays at Colchester Library's Book rest Cafe (10am - 12pm).
Sandwich Club - Lunch Club meet at Pat Malloy's on Head Street.
