At Tyrells Day Centre we provide a range of services including:
- The opportunity to meet other people to increase social contact
- The opportunity to learn new skills and hobbies
- Occasional visits into the community
- The opportunity to increase physical and mental activity
- Experienced and friendly staff to support individual needs
- Respite for carers
- Access to information and other services, including health practitioners
Cost
Prices for sessions vary depending on the level of support required for each individual.
We can offer morning and afternoon sessions as well as full days.
Group Support - £35 + VAT per full day
We can provide support in a group setting, usually up to six service users to each member of staff. This includes support with personal care as well as undertaking activities at the Day Centre to support existing and new skills, increased social interaction in a group setting and getting involved in recreational activities such as gardening, aromatherapy and exercise. The price is £35 for a full day (not inclusive of a meal).
More Intensive Support - £65 + VAT per full day
We offer the same services to those who need more support with personal care or mobility but in smaller groups of either two or three service users to each member of staff. These sessions enable staff to spend more time with each individual and are priced at £65 for a full day (not inclusive of a meal).
