Facilities

Cafe Goodman is situated in Goodman House, Harlow Town, just opposite the railway station. Here we support disadvantaged adults to develop work based skills within a real business environment.

Our coffee bar service is based in the reception area where we serve fresh Fairtrade tea and coffee, sandwiches, home-made cakes and a selection of drinks.

We are passionate about reducing discrimination and promoting equal opportunities. Our mission is to bring about change by working to enable individuals who experience disadvantage to become valued members of their local community and gain recognition for their skills and talents. We will achieve this by supporting people to take greater control over their lives, to gain access to local community resources and gain employment.

All profits are reinvested back into Essex Cares to develop and improve the service we offer our customers. By using us you are supporting disadvantaged adults to acquire the skills and experience to achieve further independence.

Cafe open to the public
