Greenacre Conference Centre is a work based training site based in Sandon that offers disadvantaged adults the opportunity to undertake work based training that is aimed towards individuals developing increased skills in independence and progression towards voluntary or paid employment.
At Greenacre the emphasis is strongly around person-centred planning and personalisation by putting our customers first in all that we do. We create individual action plans with clear and achievable aims and objectives for each individual to work towards.
At Greenacre we have a range of tasks and training outcomes for our customers to learn and undertake. Greenacre offers individuals the opportunity to develop their skills within administration, conferencing and catering and gardening and horticulture.
Greenacre Conference Centre is located within Newport House and is in easy reach of Chelmsford town centre and the A12 at junction 18. The Greenacre site itself is located within close proximity to the beautiful Essex countryside and comprises of approximately 3 acres of beautifully well maintained gardens and land that has a peaceful and enchanting feel to it.
Fresh Plants and Produce for sale
On site we grow and sell a variety of plants and fresh produce in our greenhouse, on our allotments and within our poly tunnels. We sell our Greenacre plants and produce on site daily.
Events at Greenacres
Greenacre holds a variety of exciting events each year that include: plant sale weekends, family fun days, live music evenings and a variety of seasonally themed events.
Conference Facilities available to hire
Greenacre Conference Centre offers two competitively priced conference rooms available for hire; both with stunning views of the surrounding gardens and countryside. We also offer full catering facilities for room bookings as well as an outside catering service.
