Harwich Community Base

Community Inclusion site offering support to adults of working age with a learning disability

Facilities

Harwich Community Base also provide a diverse range of activities such as communication, cooking, shopping, primary living skills, art & craft to name a few. We can offer individuals choice and support them to reach realistic goals and aims.

We promote independence as much as possible. We can arrange for travel training on public transport. We can also arrange for individuals to access other services such as Advocacy and Speech and Language Therapists.

Harwich Centre is fully accessible to wheelchair users.

 

Cost

Prices for sessions vary depending on the level of support required for each individual.

We can offer morning and afternoon sessions, as well as full days.

Prices range from £50 for a full days support in a large group, up to £100 per day  for 1-1 support, with £20ph for Personal Care requiring two staff members.
