Extra care for the elderly

Extra Care
Extra Care

Extra Care is a Domiciliary Support Service, which works in partnership with housing providers across North Essex to provide Extra Care and support for elderly people living in sheltered accommodation in Essex.

Our Extra Care services in Essex ensure that customers living within one of three Extra Care sheltered accommodation schemes - The Cannons and Wren House (all in Colchester) and Canters Meadow (in Clacton) - are supported with their needs, as assessed by a social care practitioner.

Supported living at home is always provided in a way that promotes independence, encourages choice and control and provides a safe and secure environment.

Each Extra Care scheme hosts an additional benefit of a response service, so you can always feel assured that there will be a member of our support staff on site to respond to your call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

To find out more about the Extra Care schemes and how you can gain a place, please contact an Extra Care Manager on: 01206 564985.
