Welcome to Essex Cares
Essex Cares is a relatively newly formed business created by Essex County Council to provides care, support and assistance for vulnerable people living in the local community.
We offer support to around 100,000 people each year across the county of Essex covering a whole range of adult social care services. These include:
- Essex Community Support: covering Reablement, Sensory Services, Mental Health needs and Day Care Services.
- Essex Equipment Service: delivering a full range of equipment to aid daily living, help make adaptations to homes, medical equipment and consumables.
- Essex Employment and Inclusion: providing day to day employment and practical support for adults with a learning disability.
We aim to improve the quality of life that our service users lead by helping them to stay active in the community and through promoting independence.
